More and more sites cropping up are using old fashioned HTML. I'm a big fan myself. The Levi's Copper website is a great example of something that really works - loads fast, shows the product beautifully, and keeps it simple. I especially like the old school gif animations. Nicely done.

Two good friends, Kenn & Simon MacRae, have beaten over 700 other entrants to make it to the final four of Project Greenlight Australia.

The brothers are now calling on the support of their family and friends to help them win the $1 million dollar production budget to direct a feature film they wrote and entered in the competition.

Having won their first round short film ‘shootout’, The Brothers directed another short film which is now being voted upon by the public after it aired on Foxtel’s MovieExtra channel last night.

You can check out the films and more about the Brothers, as well as vote or them at www.projectgreenlight.com.au. You can also vote by sending ‘MACRAE BROTHERS’ as an SMS to 1999 7222. Voting closes midnight Sunday, Nov 12.

Hello little Felix

As some of you may know, I'm taking a bit of time off work at the moment to care for our new baby Felix, who was born last Wednesday, October 18th. He's a great big healthy boy and David and I couldn't be happier. Thanks to all of you for your good wishes.

I'm constantly amazed at what others in creative fields are doing. Inventive food, in particular, always impresses me. Eating is something we do every day but rarely take the time to do well. This photographic account of the menu at El Bulli in Spain make me want to go jump on a plane and try it all.

A new movie website I worked on in the very early (ideas only) stages has just gone live. The movie is called Confetti, and it's hilarious. Visit the main website, and a couple viral pieces, one about nudist trampolining, the other DIY facelifts. Congrats to Claire and the team at Tequila for a fab job.
