Adicolor films

Adidas created a film series celebrating color, customization and personal expression. Each director was given a blank canvas to create a short film based on their emotional and creative response to a given color - Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink, Black or White. The seven directors are Roman Coppola & Andy Bruntel, Neill Blomkamp, PSYOP, TRONIC, Saiman Chow, Charlie White, and HAPPY.

MySpace hack

It's about time someone worked this out. I didn't think it was possible to create a MySpace page that didn't have a flashing background tile and loads of blinking images, but Mike Davidson has proven me wrong.
But wasn't easy - you can read about all the nitty gritty nerdy details here.

Security malfunction
My security guard, who is never further than 5 feet from me, has had gas all day. This may have something to do with the giant bag of liver treats he arrested and detained yesterday.
I questioned him extensively but he denied that he ate the evidence. Today, his derriere is doing the talking.

If unlike me you happen to have a spare 12 hours to look at some of the best the internet has to offer, check out Netdiver's best of 2005 and let me know which ones I need to see.

New York Times redesign

The New York Times have just launched their redesigned site. I think they've done a great job of displaying huge amount of information (and advertising) clearly onto a page. The typography and navigation look prety good too.
Most impressive is that they're one of the first of the big sites to take the leap into the world of mega screens. With the site coming in at 975 pixels wide (compared to industry-standard 770 pixels) they're banking on their audience having some pretty good hardware. Let's hope they did their homework. Here's more about the redesign.
