New York Times redesign

NYT.jpg

The New York Times have just launched their redesigned site. I think they've done a great job of displaying huge amount of information (and advertising) clearly onto a page. The typography and navigation look prety good too.

Most impressive is that they're one of the first of the big sites to take the leap into the world of mega screens. With the site coming in at 975 pixels wide (compared to industry-standard 770 pixels) they're banking on their audience having some pretty good hardware. Let's hope they did their homework. Here's more about the redesign.
